Santa Fe is the cultural hub of the southwest and world renowned for its museums, galleries and the Santa Fe Opera. According to an article in May 2019, the New York Times stated that Canyon Road has the highest density of galleries in the world! Here’s a tip: Tell your Uber driver to drop you off at Palace Avenue and Canyon Road near the Teahouse. That’s where the galleries end so you can walk your way down and then you’ll be just five minutes from the Santa Fe plaza. Whether you’re interested in visual or performance art, Santa Fe’s diverse community of artists will enhance your visit. Upon arrival pick up the latest issue of Pasa Tiempo, which will have a current listing of cultural events taking place in the city.
